Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Maldon is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The role involves servicing, repairs, MOT testing and diagnostics across a range of vehicles.

You should be fully qualified (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), hold a valid UK driving licence and bring your own tools. The position offers a competitive salary up to £40,000, a pension, holidays, fuel allowance and optional Saturday overtime.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a workshop located in Maldon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum
• Standard company pension scheme
• 20 days holiday entitlement, rising to 22 days with optional Saturday work plus bank holidays
• £100 per month fuel allowance
• Optional overtime on Saturdays at time and a half

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
• Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £40000 basic.
