Vehicle Technician required in Ramsgate, Kent

• Basic Salary circa £25,000 - £40,000 – Flexible dependent on experience
• Monthly Bonus available, OTE £40,000
• Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:30
• No Weekends!

Our client is an established automotive business within Ramsgate, operating since 1936. They are associated with a Main dealer franchise offering servicing, MOTs, and used vehicle sales. They pride themselves on delivering personal, professional, and friendly service with a long-term commitment to customer care for both the individual and their vehicle.

They are seeking motivated, qualified Vehicle Technicians to join their well-established RAC-approved workshop. Experience with vehicle diagnostics using Autel or similar diagnostic systems is preferred.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Performing servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
• Conducting diagnostics and fault finding
• Utilizing automotive resources like Haynes Manuals for challenging diagnostics
• Completing work within specified timeframes
• Maintaining accurate records of all work done
• Participating in manufacturer training programs
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

What our client expects:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar in the motor trade
• An MOT Testing licence is advantageous but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to update technical knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving confidence
• Full UK Driving Licence, preferably clean
