Job description

Vehicle Technician required in Chelmsford, Essex.

Our automotive client is a highly successful Premium Franchise / Main Car Dealership, they are actively looking to hire an experience Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team at their busy site in Chelmsford.

The primary role of a Vehicle Technician will be to carry out service checks and repair work, have a good knowledge of diagnostics, excellent customer service and communication skills whilst ensuring the company image and professionalism and quality of service is maintained at all times.

Details and Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role include:

• 40 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
• 1 in 3 Saturdays worked 8.00am to 12.30pm.
• Basic Salary & Bonus ranging from £29,000 to £40,000 p.a. (depending on experience).
• Strong bonus scheme averaging £1000 a month.
• 25 days holiday + ban holidays.
• On going Manufacture Training.
• Your Birthday off or the day closest day to it.
• Company Pension & Share Scheme.
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent (PAYE).

The successful Vehicle Technician will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics, solid experience as a Vehicle Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ time service within a Main Car Dealership, a full driving licence along with your own set of tools.
