Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited has partnered with a large national company in Milton Keynes to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role involves servicing, diagnostics and repair across brakes, suspension and cambelts, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with two shift options; salary starts at £40,300 plus overtime and a competitive benefits package including pension, holiday allowance, cycle to work and more.

Qualifications

• Qualification as Level3 in Vehicle maintenance and Repair (or City and Guilds/IMI/NVQ equivalents).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Brakes, suspension, and clutches work.
• Cambelts replacement and related tasks.

Education

Level3 in Vehicle maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

Vehicle Technician Role:

Requirements:

• We ideally want Level3in Vehicle maintenance and Repair however we would considerlevel2 vehicle Maintenance and repair. Open to equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds vehicle Maintenance, IMI or NVQ. Must be able to show your qualificaitions
• Minimum 2 years experience within the vehicle workshop or working as a Vehicle Technician
• A full UK driving licence - no more than 9 points or bans on the licence
• Ability to demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
