Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Van Mechanic in Inverness for a permanent position. You will perform vehicle repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure warranty procedures are followed. Salary ranges from £49,000 to £57,000 per annum with enhanced overtime and training opportunities.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and the candidate must have their own tools. This is a great opportunity with an established commercial vehicle dealership offering a benefits package.

As a Vehicle Technician / Van Mechanic you will be responsible for:

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs.
• Road test vehicle when required.
• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.

To be successful in this role as a Vehicle Technician / Van Mechanic, you should have:

• Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Must have own tools.
