Job summary

Vertu Motors plc is seeking a Master Technician for their Nottingham South branch. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service through your expertise in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. The position offers a competitive salary between £36,000 and £45,800 based on experience, along with a £2,500 sign-on bonus and further bonuses over time.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a vehicle technician is essential.
• Possessing an MOT licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have your own tools required for the position.
• A full UK driving licence is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing customer vehicles.
• Ensuring efficient work quality and first-time fixes.
• Liaising with service advisors, customers, and senior management.
• Mentoring apprentice technicians to develop their skills.

Master Technician – Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham South

We are offering a basic salary between £36,000 & £45,800 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week with Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We also offer a £2,500 sign-on bonus plus a further £2,500 on month 13 of employemnt!

Your role as a Master Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. You will be the expert in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing customer vehicles, ensuring efficient work for yourself and your colleagues. You are expected to liaise with service advisors, customers, and senior management, maintaining excellent customer service with a professional approach at all times. You will also assist in mentoring and developing apprentice technicians. Quality workmanship and achieving first‑time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
