Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle servicing or repair in a workshop.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
• Assist senior technicians with complex mechanical and technical tasks.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, fault diagnosis, and identify issues with guidance as needed.
• Develop diagnostic skills, especially in modern vehicle systems and electrical components.
• Work toward achieving advanced qualifications, including Level 3 and electric vehicle training.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operation.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to skill development
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team-based environment
• Pride in quality workmanship and supporting colleagues
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not mandatory
