Job summary

Command Recruitment is helping a thriving dealership recruit a Vehicle Technician. The role is full-time and permanent, with hybrid-working options and Main Dealer training including EV upskilling.

You will service and repair a wide range of vehicles using up-to-date diagnostic equipment, diagnosing faults quickly and accurately, and maintaining thorough records of your work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is required.
• Experience servicing and repairing a range of vehicles is preferred.
• Proactive fault diagnosis with up-to-date diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults quickly and accurately with up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
• Performing timing belt/chain work and general mechanical tasks.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate records of work and test results.
• Delivering outstanding customer service with clear communication.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and productive workspace.

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent. The client will fully invest in you for the future, with Main Dealer training supplied, Hybrid, EV etc.

Basic Salary: of £32,0000 to £36,000 (Depending on Experience) plus high bonuses, so OTE £45-50,000

Days: Monday-Friday, some Saturday Mornings

What You'll Be Doing:

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnosing faults quickly and accurately with up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
• Timing Belts and Timing Chains - A good all-around is needed!
• Getting stuck into mechanical jobs like brakes, exhausts, suspensions, and more
• Keeping thorough and accurate records of your work and test results
• Delivering outstanding customer service with clear communication
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and productive workspace

What You'll Need:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance
