Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Farnborough to service and maintain a mixed fleet of HGVs and cars. The role involves diagnostics, fault correction, and full overhauls, with pre-MOT checks and timely repairs.

Applicants should hold NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications and have detailed experience with modern commercial vehicles, plus a full UK driving licence. Monday–Friday days, in a purpose-built workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience as an LCV or HGV mechanic with modern commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostics skills and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance on a mixed fleet of HGVs and cars.
• Perform diagnostics, running defect corrections and full vehicle overhauls.
• Conduct pre-MOT checks and undertake repairs as required.

Job Role: Vehicle Technician

Location: Farnborough

Pay: Up to £45,000k DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday Days

Vehicle Technician duties:

Working in a purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful Vehicle Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance on a mixed fleet of HGV's and Cars;

Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.

You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.

Vehicle Technician qualifications/experience required:

In order to qualify for the role, the successful Vehicle Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds).

You must have detailed experience as an LCV OR HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
