Job summary

ACS Automotive in Brentwood is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer procedures.

The role requires Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 1 in 2 Saturday rota and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in a main dealer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to high standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service to drive loyalty and referrals.
• Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Control.
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and following manufacturer procedures.
• Being a proactive team member with attention to detail and clear customer advice.

Our client, a Motor Trade main dealer group in the Brentwood area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you are fully qualified and hold the right experience – this could be your next role!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

• Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
• Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
• Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.

Your Background & Skill:

• Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician.
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
