Join Our Team as a Level 3 Vehicle Technician!

• Salary: GBP17.14 per hour
• Contract: Permanent, annualized hours, approximately 42 hours/week, Monday to Friday, between 6am-7pm

RMS Recruitment is partnering with a reputable client in the automotive industry, specializing in vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated workshop team and help us maintain exceptional service standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to manufacturer standards
• Performing routine servicing on various vehicle models, including light commercial vehicles
• Stripping, checking, and replacing faulty parts and assemblies
• Testing, reassembling, and adjusting mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintaining workshop tools and equipment in a clean and organized manner
• Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
• Participating in training and skill development workshops
• Supporting other workshop duties as required

This is a hands-on role in an outdoor automotive environment. You will work in all weather conditions with PPE provided and will walk moderate distances throughout the day while moving vehicles.

What We're Looking For:

• L3 Qualification (or equivalent) in light vehicle maintenance and repair
• Over 25 years old with a full UK driving license (max 6 penalty points, no DR10s) for insurance purposes
• Ability to commit to a rotating shift pattern
• Strong work ethic with a proactive and flexible attitude
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety practices and willingness to follow procedures
