Recruitment Solutions is working with a prestigious, market-leading Motor Car Dealership in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a number of Vehicle Technicians on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone with a keen interest in vehicle maintenance who wants to progress their career with a household name in the industry.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out diagnostic work, repair, and service all makes of vehicles
• Perform general servicing and maintenance of used cars and commercial vehicles
• Conduct PDI inspections for new and used cars/vans
• Carry out MOT testing (if qualified)
• Perform vehicle road tests to diagnose faults
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, including warranty work in line with brand parameters

About You

Candidate Expectations:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• A team player comfortable operating within set processes and procedures
• Qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized qualification, ideally Level 3, but Level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Ability to carry out MOTs is desirable; full training will be provided if not qualified
• Motivated, dedicated, organized, with a focus on Health & Safety
• Tech-savvy and confident using iPad software
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with a 1-hour lunch break
