Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults accurately.
• Carry out brake, suspension and steering repairs.
• Replace clutches, timing belts and prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and fault finding; maintain documentation.

Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
• Perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs
• Conduct clutch replacements, timing belt changes, and prepare vehicles for MOT tests
• Carry out vehicle inspections and fault finding
• Complete trailer inspections and repairsMaintain accurate job documentation and ensure a tidy workspace
• Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly approach

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance or an equivalent qualification (City & Guilds, or time-served experience)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
• Valid full UK driving licence
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated
• Strong diagnostic skills with practical problem-solving abilities
