Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician in Crewe for a full-time permanent role. You will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles to high standards within a professional workshop.

Role offers up to £34,000 base salary with an OTE of £41,200, plus progression, training and a comprehensive benefits package. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician in automotive industry.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (licence checks).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing repairs and maintenance operations accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required.
• Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation.
• Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues.
• Maintaining high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
• Own tools and toolbox
• Excellent attention to detail & pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
