E-ppl Ltd is actively seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician to work on high-profile vehicle manufacturing and rework projects in Coventry. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including parts stripping, fitting, and servicing to exacting manufacturer standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with modern light vehicles, a Level 3 IMI in light vehicle maintenance and a valid Category B driving licence, plus ownership of your own tools.

Formación

• Level 3 IMI (Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) is required.
• Full UK driving licence (Category B) is essential.
• Must own your own range of mechanical hand tools.
• Proven hands-on experience working on modern light motor vehicles.

Responsabilidades

• Vehicle re-works and stripping/fitting to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose, access and replace damaged components efficiently.
• Carry out light mechanical, electrical and trim modifications to original builds.
• Accurately log repairs and work times to manufacturer standards (manual or digital).

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd as an Automotive Vehicle Technician on high-profile vehicle manufacturing and supply chain projects in Coventry. We are looking for versatile, all-round technicians capable of adapting to a full range of vehicle re-works, modifications, and component replacements to strict manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Re-works & Stripping/Fitting: Fit and strip mechanical and body parts, including interior trim, exterior panels, gearboxes, engines, and suspensions.
• Component Replacement: Diagnose, access, and replace damaged or defective components efficiently.
• Modifications & Assembly: Complete light mechanical, electrical, and trim modifications to original vehicle builds.
• Data & Time Tracking: Accurately log all completed repairs manually or on digital data systems, recording attendance and work times to manufacturer standards.

Location & Commute

Situated conveniently in Coventry, with direct access via the A45, A46, M6, and M42.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham, and the wider West Midlands / Warwickshire region.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Valid proof of Level 3 IMI (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Driving Licence: Full Category B UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Tools: Must have your own range of mechanical hand tools.
• Experience: Proven hands-on experience working on modern light motor vehicles within an automotive environment.
