Medicare EMS is welcoming applications for a full-time vehicle technician to support the maintenance of our frontline and event ambulances.
The role of the vehicle technician is essential for maintaining our frontline and event fleet.
Our vehicle technicians are a fundamental part of our business, ensuring that our fleet undergoes pre-planned maintenance, servicing, health checks, and repairs safely and promptly. This includes unplanned repairs to keep vehicles roadworthy and operational.
You will diagnose faults, develop appropriate plans to remedy issues, order necessary parts, and update the operational management team on fleet status.
You will also carry out pre-MOT checks to identify potential failures and prevent delays in MOT approvals across the fleet.
You will attend at one of our four frontline operational bases as part of your role.

We hold various contracts across the UK, including events at The O2 Arena, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, and Manchester Arena. We operate 36 racecourses and have frontline contracts with NHS Ambulance Services.
