About the Role

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified vehicle technician in the Carlisle area to join an established workshop and benefit from a competitive salary package.

Responsibilities:
  1. Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.
  2. Use of dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment to assist in efficient repairs.
  3. Perform repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards and schedules.
  4. Maintain health and safety standards, working within company guidelines and safe practices.
  5. Complete job cards, maintenance records, and related paperwork to a high standard.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Automotive.
  • Additional qualifications in diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair, or welding are advantageous.
