Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Conduct MOT tests where qualified
- Perform mechanical repairs and diagnostics with precision
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Assist in fault finding and component replacement
- Uphold high standards of customer service and technical excellence
- Contribute positively to a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
- Valid full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership environment
- MOT Testing qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training, especially in electric vehicle technology
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
