Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Basildon is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of vans and cars, ensuring safety and legal compliance for hire.

Working 42.5 hours across day shifts, overtime is available and paid at time and a half. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and an internal IMI accredited training program to upskill you.

If you are Level 2 Technician with 3+ years’ experience or Level 3 Technician, we’d love to hear from you.

• Fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic.

Weekly Hours:

About you:

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

About our training:

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
