Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for our Park Royal client. You will service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards, perform health checks and diagnose faults, ensuring quality workmanship across all tasks.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification, a full UK driving licence, and experience with premium manufacturers is advantageous. Competitive salary with bonus opportunities and brand training provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Experience from a main dealership or independent garage.
• Ability to work accurately and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience with a premium manufacturer would be advantageous but is not essential, as full brand training is available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out authorised mechanical repairs and warranty work.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and fit vehicle accessories.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs are successful.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation.

• Location:Park Royal
• Salary: £37,000-£41,000 basic, depending on qualifications
• OTE: Up to £51,200 uncapped
• Bonus: £3,000 Productivity Bonus plus Time Saved Bonus Scheme
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm
