Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in St Helens is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to restore accident-damaged and sales vehicles to their former glory. You’ll work in a busy workshop, preparing vehicles for paintwork and applying finishes to the highest standard.

We offer up to £47,000 OTE plus benefits, with an additional potential bonus of up to £9,000 every three years. The role is 44 hours per week, includes 33 days’ annual leave, salary reviews twice a year, generous discounts, private healthcare and

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard
