Job summary

Arnold Clark Group's Chesterfield Motorstore is seeking an experienced Vehicle Spray Painter to restore accident-damaged and sales vehicles to a high standard within a busy workshop. You'll prepare surfaces, mask, mix paints and apply coatings.

The role offers a 44-hour week, starting from 33 days of annual leave, and regular salary reviews with progression opportunities. Applicants should have previous spray painting experience in a professional workshop and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
