Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Ayr is hiring a skilled Spray Painter to restore accident-damaged and sales vehicles to their former glory. You’ll join a busy workshop and work on a variety of finishes.

The role requires previous spray painting experience in a professional workshop, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well both in a team and on your own initiative. We offer 44 hours per week, 33 days annual leave, salary up to £47,000 OTE plus benefits, with regular salary reviews and

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
