Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services as well as related repairs in our automotive service centres. The role offers a base salary of £31,000–£33,830 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging £4,300 per year, bringing on-target earnings up to £38,130.

You will be part of the UK’s largest motoring and cycling retailer, with excellent progression opportunities, benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services.
• Follow up repair and replacement work.
• Work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.
