Job summary

Gerrell & Hard Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Security Engineer to join a leading automotive research organisation at the forefront of vehicle security. You will lead and deliver technical research into security and theft prevention, exploring emerging vehicle technologies and attack vectors.

You will produce technical reports and present findings to customers and industry audiences, and work with manufacturers, insurers and industry bodies to influence best practice.

Qualifications

• Significant automotive sector experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle security systems or connected vehicles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical research into vehicle security and theft prevention.
• Analyse emerging security risks and theft trends.
• Research automotive electronic architectures and connected vehicle technologies.
• Develop and refine vehicle security testing protocols.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to customers and industry audiences.
