Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited in Exeter is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Administrator to join a franchise car dealership group. The role focuses on processing both new and used vehicles, handling DVLA guidelines, and providing strong sales support using the company DMS.

You will coordinate with Sales Managers, ensure deals are invoiced by month end, and manage vehicle taxing while contributing to a professional, performance-driven environment with scope for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience processing both new and used vehicles within a fast-paced motor trade.
• Knowledge of DVLA/AFRL guidelines and process compliance.
• Strong administrative and data-entry skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Comply with DVLA/AFRL guidelines at all times.
• Provide excellent support and administration services to the sales department.
• Process and monitor all new and used car sales on the DMS.
• Support Sales team – set up, invoice and post deals.
• Taxing of vehicles.
• Keep track of deals and ensure all are invoiced by end of month.
• Liaising with Sales Managers.

Main Objectives as a Vehicle Sales Administrator:

• Comply with DVLA/AFRL guidelines at all times
• Provide excellent support and administration services to the sales department

• Taxing of vehicles

The Package:

£27,000 starting salary + Bonus – paid at £250 per quarter.
