Proftech Talent is seeking an experienced Product/Development Engineer for their Lichfield team. The role combines product development, vehicle electronics and technical project management to drive concepts through testing and launch.

You will collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers and customers, integrating electronic systems and supporting field trials and customer projects to deliver practical product solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, product engineering or similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience developing, testing or integrating electronic products.
• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, engineers or technology partners.

Responsabilités

• Support development and management of the vehicle technology product portfolio.
• Identify new products and opportunities to add value for customers.
• Lead new product development from concept through testing and launch.
• Define requirements, specs and acceptance criteria.
• Design and configure prototype hardware systems.
