Prodrive in Birmingham is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure that vehicles, components and manufacturing processes meet engineering specifications and customer requirements throughout the build lifecycle. You will develop and maintain quality controls from incoming inspections to final vehicle release, using data to drive improvements and maintain compliance with Quality Management standards.

This fast-paced, low-volume/high-mix environment demands strong problem-solving and communication

Formación

• Experience in automotive or regulated engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC.
• Experience with prototype, pre-series and low-volume production.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with good communication.
• Ability to interpret drawings, CAD and GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Co-ordinate containment of non-conforming material.
• Provide technical quality support for vehicle inspections and develop processes for recording vehicle condition and specification.
• Use KPI data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Maintain integrity of the Quality and Environmental Management System.
