Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Ascot is seeking a Vehicle Progressor for a full-time role. Basic salary £28,089.10 with an OTE of £33,089.10, plus excellent benefits, across a 42.5-hour week (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm).

The role involves ensuring each vehicle is prepared to group and brand standards within 72 hours, coordinating cosmetic work, valeting and photography for sale, and overseeing logistics and quality checks for return to dealers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• A passion for Mercedes Benz is essential.
• Full UK driving licence may be required for vehicle collection/delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every vehicle is prepared to meet brand standards within 72 hours of arrival.
• Organise all aspects of cosmetic work (wheel refurbishment, painting, trim repairs, valeting) and take photographs for sale.
• Keep forecourt tidy and presentable and manage logistics for returning vehicles to the required dealerships.
• Quality check the vehicle condition after preparation and coordinate preparation for sale.

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for a Vehicle Progressor to come and join our fantastic team at Vertu Mercedes Benz of Ascot.

We are offering a Basic Salary of £28,089.10 with an OTE of £33,089.10 plus excellent company benefits. This is a full time permanent role across 42.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

It is the responsibility of the Vehicle Progressor to ensure that every vehicle is prepared to meet group and brand standards within 72hrs of arrival.

This includes initial cosmetic inspections when booking vehicles in, organising all aspects of cosmetic work to be completed from wheel refurbishment, painting, trim repairs, valeting and photographs of all vehicles ready for sale along with ensuring the forecourt is kept up to standard.

This role is also responsible for quality checking the condition of all vehicles once vehicle preparation has been completed and the logistics for the vehicles being returned to the required dealerships, organising vehicles for preparation for sale.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role within the automotive industry. A passion for Mercedes Benz is essential.

You must be a driven and motivated, yet disciplined, individual who is able to communicate well with customers and be able to work as an individual and part of a team. Your passion, energy and commitment must be second to none and should be able to be demonstrated at interview. You will have a keen eye for detail and be confident using technology.

Applicants must also hold a full UK driving licence as collection and delivery of vehicles to customers maybe required.
