Job summary

Marshall Motor Group Lincoln is seeking a Vehicle Pricing Analyst to drive pricing strategies for our used car and commercial vehicle stock. You will use data-led insights to optimise pricing, improve inventory turnover and support the Head of Pricing & Strategy in shaping profitability.

About The Role

Vehicle Pricing Analyst

Full-time | 45 hours per week | Hybrid Working Monday - Friday- This position is based in Lincoln therefore you must live a commutable distance to our store to be considered.

We are offering an exciting role within our expanding team, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our pricing strategies. In this role:

In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will be responsible for executing pricing strategies for used cars and commercial vehicles, reporting and collaborating directly with the Head of Pricing & Strategy. Your strong data and analytical skills will drive performance, helping to optimise platform content and ensure our inventory is competitively priced.

• Utilise our automated assistant to set prices for our vehicle inventory, while manually researching individual vehicles to ensure we maximise profitability through stock turnover.
• Research vehicle prices across multiple platforms, using data to adjust prices and stay ahead of the competition.
• Identify merchandising issues, taking ownership of reporting and resolving issues effectively.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment with a keen analytical mindset. While automotive knowledge is a plus, it’s not essential to your success in this position. You should be methodical, diligent, and take pride in your work, ensuring that every decision is informed by detailed research and accurate data.
