Job summary

Motorpoint Ltd, the UK's leading omnichannel car retailer, seeks a Vehicle Preparation Assistant at our Sheffield site. You will inspect, recondition and present vehicles to high standards before customer handover, and photograph cars for marketing.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, ability to work in a team and alone, and a proactive approach to meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 42.5-hour week with weekend shifts and a permanent contract are offered.

• Conduct vehicle check-ins in all weather conditions.
• Handle personal data in line with GDPR requirements.
• Support vehicle movements on-site and off-site.
• Liaise with drivers and transporters, resolving challenges professionally.
• Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required.

The Role: Vehicle Preparation Assistant

Salary: £13.10 per hour + monthly bonus

Location: Sheffield

Contract Type:Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours, 5 days out of 7 on a rota - weekend working will be required.

As a Vehicle Preparation Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our vehicles are prepared to Motorpoint's high standards before they're handed over to customers or displayed on site. You'll support the wider preparation team by carrying out inspections, assisting with reconditioning, and ensuring vehicles are presented at their best.
