Job summary

London Hire Ltd in Erith is seeking a Vehicle Valeter on a zero-hours basis to prepare vehicles for London hire, inspect arrivals and manage fleet duties. You will ensure that vehicles are cleaned, checked for defects, and that documentation and safety equipment are in place before rental, while supporting the yard with daily checks and repairs where needed.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to multi-task, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Deliver world class customer service and be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for delivery to customers with correct documentation, cleanliness, and defect checks.
• Check new vehicles against the New Vehicle Acceptance Sheet and ensure compliance.
• Inspect vehicles being returned from hire and update daily diary records.
