Job summary

Jaguar TCS Racing is offering a 12-month student placement in the Vehicle Performance group. You will collaborate with the Strategy & Software team to develop in-house tools and analyse race data for real-time energy management and strategy decisions.

You will gain hands-on experience with data pipelines, source control, and modern software practices, with opportunities to contribute on race weekends and learn from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

• Engineering student on industrial placement with keen interest in software for motorsport.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for race strategy.
• Familiarity with version control and software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house tools to optimise race strategy and energy management.
• Analyse car, simulation and timing data to inform decisions.
• Contribute to pre/post-event analysis of race strategy and performance.
• Maintain production-grade code with robust testing and documentation.
