Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent automotive accident repair centre in Cardiff for a vehicle panel beater. You will join a busy team in modern facilities, reporting to the Centre Manager, with a motivating environment and competitive rewards.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times, and offers performance bonuses up to £55,000 OTE along with pension, leave and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a vehicle panel beater.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but strong on‑the‑job experience will be considered.
• Good attention to detail with high standards of workmanship.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• UK driving licence with minimal points; ATA accreditation desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels.
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs to industry standards as the Panel Beater.
• Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate repair methods.
• Repair bumpers and doors as the Panel Beater.
• Ensure all panel beating and repair works meet internal and third‑party quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient and safe centre operations.
