Job summary

Dennis Eagle UK in Blackpool invites applications for a Paint Sprayer and Prepper. This hands-on role covers preparation, priming, base coats and finishing with a focus on quality and safety in a busy paint shop.

You'll join a skilled team, work to production targets, and benefit from an explicit training path during transition of a project to Blackpool. Competitive hourly rate of £18.43 ph DOE and 37 hours per week, with flexible/hybrid options where possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in vehicle paint spraying or prep in manufacturing.
• Experience with surface preparation, masking, sanding and paint application.
• A good understanding of quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
• Ability to follow work instructions and meet production targets.
• Flexible, positive team player with good reliability.
• Willingness to learn and support different paint shop activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle components and surfaces for painting.
• Carry out shot blasting and surface preparation.
• Repair dents and imperfections prior to paint application.
• Apply primers, base coats and top coats.
• Mix paint to meet colour specifications.
• Inspect finished work and rectify defects.
• Maintain paint shop equipment and uphold safety.
• Work to production schedules and quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a safe, organized, collaborative environment.
