ATA Vehicle Paint Sprayer

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer from either a bodyshop or accident repair background to join a well-recognized accident repair centre.

Our client has extensive industry experience and, with ongoing growth, offers secure and financially stable employment within a leading company.

The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter

• Painting repaired vehicles to a high standard
• Using up-to-date water-based paint systems
• Preparing vehicles for painting by hand or machine
• Mixing and matching paint by eye or using computer technology
• Applying primer and finishing coats with spray guns, and rubbing down surfaces between coats
• Touching up paintwork and polishing vehicles
• Knowledge of blending paintwork is essential
• Removing masking papers before waxing and polishing
• Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
• Spraying paint over entire vehicles
• Working in spray booths to confine paint to specific areas
• Comfortable working in a painting environment
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer required

Job Experience Required

• Car painting and technical knowledge within the accident repair and bodyshop industry
• Skills to ensure high-quality work
• Own spray guns required
• ATA or Level 3 qualification is an advantage
