ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join Activate Accident Repair at our Mildenhall site. You will paint and prep motor vehicles to high standards and work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ/ATA level 3 in vehicle painting or body repair.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Strong H&S awareness and safe working practices.
• Proven time management and organisation.
• Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.

Responsibilities

• Paint and prep motor vehicles to a high standard.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in repair and painting.
• Carry out work in a safe and economical manner.
• Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
• Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying equipment.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards on handover.
• Record faults and report them on the job card.

About the role

We’re looking for a Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join ourteam, and play a key role in Activate Accident Repair.

Painting and prepping of Motor vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of motor vehicles of all types.
• Carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.
• Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.
• Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
• Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment.
• Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
• Attain manufacturers' and/or estimated repair/paint times.
• Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.

Skills and experience

• ATA / NVQ level 3
• Good Communication skills.
• Good Decision Making/Problem solving skills.
• Good H&S knowledge/awareness.
• Good Time management skills
• Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician.
