Babcock is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic for a full-time, on-site role near Richmond/Catterick. You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles, complete documentation, and maintain fleets to support defence and national infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a vehicle mechanic or in a similar role.
• Experience from a dealership or local garage environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and applicable safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and assess vehicles and mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Service, repair, maintain, and overhaul vehicles to required standards.
• Complete job cards, test certificates, and technical documentation accurately.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are used correctly and managed efficiently.
• Work in line with customer requirements, regulations, and technical instructions.
