Job summary

Babcock International Group in Leconfield near Hull is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair military vehicles and electrical equipment. You will work within a skilled team to ensure the fleet is ready for action, performing diagnostics, inspections, and servicing.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment onsite with regular hours and potential relocation support. A targeted medical questionnaire and SC security clearance are required.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair.
Previous experience in a similar mechanical role.
Experience in a dealership or local garage.
Hydraulics experience.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Servicing, repairing, and overhauling military vehicles and electrical systems.
Diagnosing, inspecting, and assessing vehicles and equipment.
Creating job cards and ordering materials using ERP (SAP) systems.
Completing documentation and test certificates to current standards.
