Join Our Paid Upskilling Programme for Vehicle Mechanics!

Shorterm Group has partnered with leading PSV/Bus operators across the UK to offer an exciting opportunity for vehicle mechanics to upskill into skilled PSV/Bus technicians.

• Duration: 1-year earn-and-learn programme
• Training: Full-time in the depot with 1-2 hours of online learning per week
• Pay Increase: Significant pay rise of approximately £10k per annum after completion
• Pay: £33,500 per annum, paid weekly (initial pay, will rise after completion)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
• Shifts: 8-hour shifts between 5am and 11pm, allocated on a rota basis
• Overtime: Available

Entry Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in vehicle mechanics or equivalent
• At least 2 years of post-study/apprenticeship experience in a workshop environment
• Valid UK driver's licence
• Own tools suitable for a light vehicle technician
• Suitable laptop/computer and internet connection
