Vehicle Technician

Monday to Friday

Location: Bridgewater

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to 46k

Questech Automotive Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of the largest fleet organisation in the UK for experienced Vehicle Technicians on a permanent basis.

We are seeking Technicians/Mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, or PSV background.

Shifts are Monday to Friday days, based on a 40-hour week.

If you are a Level 3 qualified Technician with a proven track record as a Mechanic, or a time-served Technician, we would love to hear from you.

You should be an apprentice-trained, fully qualified Technician with experience working on a variety of PSV or HGV vehicles.

The role includes:

• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair, and installation
• Setting and operating machine tools and equipment
• Supporting workshop team members, including Apprentice Technicians
• Accurately recording time and details of jobs performed
• Utilizing skills and performing other tasks within your job grade to maximize workshop efficiency

Skills & Experience:

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent
• At least 6 years of experience as an HGV Mechanic
• Previous experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/Engineer
• Possession of own tools
