Qualifications

• Experience from Level 2 (Newly Qualified) to time-served.
• Full valid driving licence required.

Proactive Personnel Ltd are proud to be recruiting for our market leading automotive dealership network in the East Midlands area.Specifically, we are recruiting for Newly Qualified / Experienced or Master Technicians in the Leicester area.

Experience and Skills required for a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Master Technician:

• You must be a team player who is always on hand to help and assist if required
• An MOT testing qualification is desirable, but this isn’t essential.
• A full valid driving licence as a minimum

Duties included:

• Inspect customers’ vehicles/goods, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
• Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
• Conduct electronic visual health checks
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
• Undertake major engine work – such as engine – gearbox replacements.
• Ensure a final inspection of all work
• Record accurate details of work done on Repair Order
• Participate in on-going training
• Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.

Required skills and experience:

We are able to consider candidates with a variety of experience ranging from Level 2 (Newly Qualified), Level 3 and time served candidates for these roles.
