Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a number of local authority sites throughout Derbyshire, with a specific focus on Chesterfield.

We are recruiting for 2 LGV mechanics (MOT card advantageous) and a HGV technician.

We are seeking mechanics with experience in various vehicles; dealership experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on local authority vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics or a similar qualification is required.

Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00, early finish on Friday.
