Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will inspect vehicles, report findings, and assist with daily site inspections across BCA sites within your region.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, and a valid UK driving licence. You will work 8.15am-5.45pm, with travel across sites and opportunities for bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication and interaction at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures and report findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; longer trips may be required.
