Job summary

Santander Consumer Finance is seeking a Vehicle Inspector in Milton Keynes to conduct comprehensive inspections and ensure vehicles meet BVRLA standards. You will support remarketing operations with accurate records and assist with collection and delivery to customers, dealerships and repair centres.

Key requirements include a full UK driving licence and prior inspection experience; knowledge of BVRLA wear and tear standards is desirable.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in vehicle inspections.
• Knowledge of BVRLA wear & tear standards desirable.
• Understanding of body repair techniques desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in compound management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out accurate vehicle inspections per BVRLA criteria.
• Maintain yard, move vehicles and update stock records.
• Conduct off-site inspections at customer locations with transport provided.
• Deliver or collect vehicles safely and in line with policy.
• Support Consumer Duty commitments and protect customer interests.
