Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is looking for a Vehicle PDI/Preparation Technician to join our Derby service team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will perform pre-delivery checks, servicing and diagnose faults to manufacturer standards.

You should have Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) and a full UK driving license; 3+ years in a workshop is preferred. Weekend and bank holiday patterns are not specified here. Benefits and progression opportunities are provided.

• Carry out high-quality pre-delivery checks, servicing, repairs and diagnose faults to manufacturer standards.
• Hold Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification; full UK driving license.
• Minimum 3 years workshop experience and MOT license preferable.

Are you an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician who can carry out Pre-Delivery checks on new and used vehicles and looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? At Pentagon Motor Group, we’re on the lookout for experienced Pre-Delivery Vehicle Technicians like you to join our expanding aftersales team. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out high-quality pre-delivery checks, servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT License would be preferable
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
