Job summary

PlanetRecruitment is recruiting Automotive Drivers for roles based near Bicester with UK-wide travel. This fixed-term/ad-hoc position offers £12.71 per hour and no guaranteed hours, paid for actual hours worked.

You will move vehicles between locations, perform handovers, and return to Bicester by train after deliveries. A clean UK driving licence and at least 2 years' driving experience are required.

Automotive Driver – Vehicle Collection & Delivery

Location: Bicester / UK-wide travel
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Fixed-Term / Flexible Ad-Hoc Hours

We are currently recruiting Automotive Drivers for our client based near Bicester. The company is a well-established name within the UK automotive industry, with more than 100 years of experience working with major vehicle manufacturers and dealer networks.

This position offers flexible, ad-hoc working, with assignments offered according to business requirements. There are no guaranteed hours, and you will be paid for the hours you actually work.

The Opportunity

As an Automotive Driver, you will be responsible for moving vehicles between various locations throughout the UK. The role involves travelling to different destinations, completing vehicle handovers and ensuring each vehicle is delivered safely and professionally.

Once a delivery or collection has been completed, you will normally return to the Bicester area by train.

Your Duties

• Drive and relocate vehicles safely throughout the UK
• Collect vehicles from customers, dealerships and other locations
• Complete vehicle handovers and explain basic vehicle functions where required
• Use a company-issued Samsung tablet to complete digital paperwork and update systemsFollow company processes and health & safety procedures
• Deliver a professional and courteous service to customers
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure vehicle movements are completed efficiently

What We Need From You
