Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a leading bodyshop team in Swindon. The role offers a basic salary and potential OTE, with standard Monday–Friday hours and on-site work.

The ideal candidate has an apprenticeship in VDA, ATA or equivalent, plus experience in a busy shop and a proven ability to earn bonus hours through performance.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor.
• Technical qualification such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA.
• Experience as VDA in busy body shop; strong team player with motivation to earn bonus hours.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow repair techniques; align work with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Basic Salary:£35,000 - £40,000

Working Hours:Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications of a Vehicle Damage Assessor

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
• Must have previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, ideally be ATA qualified and have an up to date Audatex certificate.
