Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator in Bristol to join a family-run accident repair centre. The role involves preparing accurate estimates, liaising with the bodyshop, and advising on total loss claims while maintaining records and complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator.
• Ideally Audatex trained/qualified.
• Experience with Autoflow Bodyshop Management System advantageous.
• ATA accreditation desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual and computerised vehicle repair estimates accurately, ensuring compliance with insurer and customer requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, identifying unauthorised work and gaining prior authorisation before proceeding.
• Liaise with the bodyshop team to communicate work requirements and ensure seamless workflow.
• Advise on total loss claims and liaise with insurance companies accordingly.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
• Follow up on unauthorised estimates and report reasons to management; ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional and transparent assessments.
• Adhere to industry standards, including health and safety policies, at all times.
