The Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator will play a vital role in delivering accurate vehicle estimates, ensuring efficient repairs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards. - Starting salary between £42,000 and £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor
- Prepare manual and computerised vehicle estimates, ensuring conformity with insurer and customer requirements
- Ensure all estimates are accurately documented and follow up on unauthorised work, securing proper approval before commencement
- Liaise with bodyshop personnel to communicate repair estimates and ensure understanding of scope of work
- If a vehicle is deemed a total loss, notify relevant parties and coordinate appropriate actions
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and work undertaken
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the working environment
- Work efficiently to generate profitable and customer-focused repair solutions
- Ensure high standards of customer care and satisfaction throughout the repair process
Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
- Strong knowledge of vehicle estimating techniques
- Experience with Autoflow Bodyshop Management System (desirable)
- Automotive Technical Accreditation (ATA) would be advantageous
- Manufacturer-approved training experience is beneficial but not essential
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
